back from kerrville, texas where we had a great time pickin' and grinnin'....
what an incredible audience!!!
I think almost every act is givien a standing ovation
and encore.. this is truly one of the sweetest most laid-back festivals
there is...
the more i do these kind of shows the more i look
forward to them... they're a wonderful oppurtunity to catch up with friends
and musicians from around the country... i'd especially like to thank ellis
paul for coming to the rescue when i broke a string during during one of my
sets... ellis not only volunteered his guitar as a sub, but also changed the
busted string!
i've got a few more gigs this month and then -
except for the occasional house concert- will be taking most of the
summer off to hang out with my family, write and paint my house... i'll
try to write in this space more often than i have been... hope the
summer treats you right and that i'll see you soon! as my friend Lisa K
always says...'love on!' -john
