Wow… the holidays blew by like an express train… A locatable TV remote control (my kids got some new kind of video game up in their room that has them venturing down to the first floor for little but snacks these days), sore quadriceps (my Christmas present was a beginners class at the local yoga emporium) and a few stray evergreen needles seem to be all there is left to mark their passing! I hope the yuletide whirlwind treated you well! I’ve enjoyed some off-the- road time, writing, running with my German shepherd “Chief” and watching the politicos and pundits on the tube. My hard won skepticism about the system not withstanding, there’s one thing that keeps coming back to my mind. If we were to elect Obama, every human being on the planet could literally share the dream that his or her kid or grandkid could one day grow up to be president of the United States! I can’t think of any other single thing that would have the potential of so fundamentally altering the feelings of the citizens of the world toward this country.
