In my opinion, it is the warmest most artist-friendly place we have in the Delaware Valley and I’m really thankful for it. What a nice cross section of friends and fans showed up. All ages, from the high school kids to grandparents. The time just goes so fast on that stage. I don’t even remember what I sang or talked about. Just that I felt very good inside when I walked out into the snow at midnight… Long day tomorrow. I catch a 10AM
flight to Memphis. Arrive mid -afternoon and hang out til 10 PM when I catch the
Amtrak red-eye north to Carbondale, IL. Roll in the there at 3:30AM to
(hopefully) find a cab to take me 30 minutes to my motel and get a nap before
boarding Arlo’s tour bus for the venue load-in and sound check… Looks like I picked the right week not to give up caffeine! I’m looking forward to this tour. To the trains. To the music and the people. And to my visit in New Orleans where, hopefully I’ll find some hopeful things to report when I write on this page next time… Of course that will be after I get all that laundry done!
