The rest of the week went great in the studio. Larry Campbell was amazing as usual and Stephanie Winters blew us away with some cello arrangements. Ben relayed some very cool  news as well; Kathy Mattea has agreed to sing on my CD!  Most likely on a song called "My Father's Chapel".  I have been such a big fan of Kathy's - since way before her first record deal.  She used to sing on  demos for my publisher in Nashville -- and although she would not remember-- somewhere around here there are actually cassettes that include Kathy doing BVs on some of my earliest songs (She was by far the best thing about those recordings!) I'm thrilled as well that my friends  Kim and Reggie Harris will be lending their beautiful harmonies to a couple tracks!  Someone asked when the new CD will be out.  With luck we'll have it done midway thru September which means a late October release.  Good on you!
